After 5 long years of loyal service, I sold my 2015 purely gaming build to a colleague. I always wanted to build an SFF pc but didn't want to compromise on performance, noise levels and/or temps.
After asking on the LTT forum I settled on the In Win A1 Plus, with which I fell in love at first sight. The build wasn't as easy as I hoped, mainly because the space you have to work with is very limited, and the included PSU isn't a modular one, so cable management was a bit of a pain.
In the end I didn't have the time to properly cable manage as I needed the pc up and running asap, I might start from scratch if by any chance I manage to find the time.
I'm not a fan of flash RGB effects, so I set the fans and bottom strip on fixed white, while the corsair ram randomly shifts color, but slowly and at medium brightness. I kinda like the effect.
All in all I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out, cables aside. I'm also very happy to have completely cleared my desk except for a mouse, keyboard and a monitor, being able to just stick such a powerful pc on my bookcase, routing just a few cables though my room.
