Worst motherboard I've ever used... I type in a tertiary timing and it changes the numbers I type randomly! Impossible to do a proper RAM OC on - you'll be limited to the primary and secondary timings. The tertiary timings will only have consistent values if you leave them on auto...

CAUTION There is a known issue with this and other msi Motherboards, that slow down the CPU, locking the speed to 800mHz. Issue is explained here: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/cpu-is-cool-but-temperature-throttling-seems-always-on.343676/#post-1992049
This is because there is a switch that slows the CPU to minimum speed kind of "Safe mode", but the issue is that even if it is physically Off (switch to the left), the feature is On (indicated with a red led light above the switch), and limits the CPU speed to 800mHz.
This can be temporary fixed by turning the Intel Adaptive Thermal Monitor to Disable within the BIOS options.

It's a good, quality motherboard. It's just simply older now and there are newer options available. Looks very nice though. I am very surprised that this model, a 2016 motherboard, had two M.2 slots.

Has many ports, and doesn't bottleneck anything, one of the heat sensors did fail but it hasn't caused any problems

Great Motherboard, nothing much to say really, its a motherboard. I dislike the color scheme and the red lights but was able to disable the red lights and paint the heatsinks.
from completed build Licensed Driver
Works great, looks great. Does everything I need it to.
from completed build Cyclone PC
Motherboard works exactly as planned, has a nice BIOS, and I love the look of it.
from completed build My First Highschool Gaming PC (Upgraded Prebuilt)
Pros: Great budget board for overclocking. Sturdy as hell Cons: Heatsyncs near the cpu give off a lot of heat
from completed build Creating Perfection from 3K worth of Mc-Money [Full-Rig]
Great motherboard, good compat, no issues thus far. Great BIOS support and easy to use interface. Enough said.
from completed build The Fiery Phoenix
